Two Nationwide Guard members deployed to patrol Washington, DC amid widespread protests within the metropolis have been injured by a lightning strike early Friday morning, a report stated.

The members have been close to Lafayette Sq. when lightning hit the realm close to them they usually have been injured by the strike, NBC News reported.

They have been rushed to an space hospital with critical injures, however anticipated to outlive, in accordance with the report.
